(website under development)
Welcome to the website of
Boy Scout Troop 562
of the Cascade Pacific Council
The scouts and leaders of this troop have put together this web site as a resource for scouts and parents. It includes information on who we are, our activities and how we conduct the Scouting program. We hope that it will be helpful and that it will be a place where you will frequently visit to keep in touch with our group.
Since scouting activities are held year-round, the troop meets year-round.
What we do
In Scouting, the boys come first. Troop activities include camping, hiking, swimming, and community outreach programs and projects. Over the years, the scouts have also had the opportunity to participate in numerous Eagle projects.
Troop meetings are used to plan events, discuss future plans with the troop membership, organize special interest groups, and work on advancements and merit badges. It is through a cooperative effort of the scouts and the elected leaders, along with adult leaders and other adult volunteers, that Troop 562 boasts a current active membership of 30 scouts and 20 adult leaders and committee members.
Check out our calendar (watch for link, coming soon) for a full list of activities.
Please explore our website and see what we have been up to. You will also find information about Scouting programs, skills, knot tying, gear and other things of interest to scouts.
